1120 hwy miles, avg. speed 75-95mph, avg. 47mpg, temps. from 85*-95*. Most mind numbing ride I've ever done, but the bike never missed a beat or had any problems.

Hahaha ... Very impressive figures! ...

On a totally separate note, I'll be making a trip like that soon I think ... I'm eyeballing a nice M2 in Salt Lake City that I'm most likely gonna end up riding ALL the way back here to central louisiana .... :D ... Hopefully me and the owner can make a deal and I can get my leave approved !! ...

mine wasn't so sweet. planned on 1100 miles from Manchester NH to Greenville SC. only made it to Harrisburg PA and had either the voltage regulator or stator go. bummer. $900 bucks later and the bike's in the shop. $500 for a plane ticket, $300 for transport and $100 misc. BS. BTW- Susquehanna Valley HD rocks! they treated me fine w/o charging a nickle. let me store the bike till it got picked up and took care of all details when it was picked up. I had to get to Greenville!

I have trip interruption from progressive on my insurance..... $5 a month for a tow to nearest dealer $100 a day for a hotel room and a rental car.... That's worth it in my opinion....

AAA Plus......up to 200 miles free tow. Tow truck guy and I had to load the bike in the middle of thunderstorm and he hooked me up with a ride to a hotel near the dealer. Coitus interruptus for sure. I was sooo close to hitting Skyline drive and the BRP! :-(

Anyway back on topic I went on a 400 mile trip a few months ago and I got 55 mpg on my xb9 cruising between 55 and 70.... One stretch we were doing 100+ through winding road for about a half hour.... I love the mileage these things get
