I just purchased one from americansportbike. It was a nice cable and works great but I had to file the part that slips into the clutch bracket to get it to fit. took about five minutes with a flat file.

+1 on that bracket totally worth it. I'm getting one soon.

I actually special ordered a stainless steel clutch cable for our XB's from after market clutch specialists Barnnett Clutches. The design is exclusive and superior to HD OEM cables. They are not stocked and therefore are made to order, however it only took them a couple of business days from the day I placed the order to the day they shipped the cable. There was no issue with my original stock cable - I just did it as an upgrade, to match my stainless steel front brake line, and to possibly head off a clutch cable failure. Installed the upgrade clutch cable bracket while I was at it. Full write-up thread with impressions and photos forthcoming, and will include detailed special order instructions. The extra cost was relatively minimal and to me was worth it.

an easy way to find part numbers if you can't find it, and or don't have a parts catalog and yes google doesn't always have the answer: go to twinmotorcycles.com and use the search box, simply type in the item, sometimes you'll get exactly what you're looking for and sometimes you'll get a list that you'll have to scroll through, both with pics... either way it saves the hassle of spending lots of time searching here and there for whatever you need
