So today my lovely cr decided to cease starting. Would turn over but started showing lots of errors and no fuel pressure. Turns out after many hours it was the fuel pump, more specifically the fuel pump electrical connection had chafed wires and was shorting out. It popped the 15a fuse and after tracing the line and the smell I found it was the connection.
With a little modification to the plastic housing and a lot of wrapping and protecting the wires she's good to go. If you have this problem its easier to drop the rear shock for access just remember if you have an aftermarket exhaust to unhook it first so the tire can rotate down. I'll post the codes it through tomorrow if I can remember.
