I'm trying to replace my mirrors with some cheap-o's and I'm having trouble finding any adapters for the thread size I need. Anybody know what the stock thread size is off hand? I have a feeling the PO tapped these out for the weird mirrors that are currently on my bike.

I'm trying everything I can to avoid going with bar end mirrors. I'm tired of looking down so far for a rear view and I'm splitting lanes for almost 2 hours per day so I'd like to keep as much clearance as possible. Thanks for any suggestions.

Every bike I have ever owned a bike, regardless of German, Japanese or American (I have never owned a Harley) has used M10 size threads on the mirror stalk.

Thanks guys. That's what I assumed and unfortunately mine have been tapped out much larger. They may be beyond repair so I might be stuck with bar ends.
