Hey All,

I'm looking for the headlight bezels for a '03 XB9R. I'm having trouble finding anyone who has a set or anywhere that sells them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Robin

Part numbers:

Left - M0064.02A8
Right - M0065.02A8

Google the part numbers to shop around. Here's a link to Surdyke HD to get you started:

They go for $30-$40 each. Not cheap. Use a hair dryer on low/medium setting on the old bezels to soften up the adhesive tape holding them in place. Be careful handling the new ones when installing. They're pretty brittle and break easily.

yes they are brittle, but can be plastic welded and reshaped if any pieces are missing. used 3M Hysol to rebuild mine after welding...bezel on the left had the lower curved piece cracked off when I bought it, broke both while trying to remove them.

Thanks all for the advice.. mine didn't have the bezels to begin with that's why I'm looking for a set of them now. I didn't realize that they were even a seperate part at first.

I need to repair a few hairline cracks in mine ... The retarded PO of my bike apparently tried to take them off at one point or another ... and didn't have the brain cells to think about softening up the glue holding them on with anything ... I swear I find more and more retarded crap each and every time I work on my bike ... =\ [down]

pointed tip on a small soldering iron works great, learned how to from youtube...search for plastic welding and if you need to fill in some of the areas, get some Hysol, used on aircraft structures and flight control surfaces...when it sets up, you can sand and shape easily, holds up to primer and paint with no issues.

Tell me about it vtech.... You shoulda see the bird nest of wiring this dude did to try and rid up an underglow kit and a switch for cutting off his headlights.... It was a disaster... I spent an entire weekend just rewiring my 9er from front to bacn when I first got it... But now I know that **** is solid as a rock!...

Thrstrmech... Thanks a lot for that info... I've heard of the soldering iron before... But never of Hysol...

Loctite Hysol 907 is what I use, Henkel makes the aviation application

...3M also makes it under a different number
