new owner. needs to remove gas tank cowell

I just got a used 2005 buell blast. I am trying to remove the gas tank cowel, but there is a hose in the way. what is it and ow do I remove it? All the dealers are closed today, so i cant get a service manual at the moment.

What hose? The tank vent hose? Just pull it off.

If it's not the tank vent, you need to describe the hose better, a picture would be best.
