As the title states, I've been thinking of selling my XB9SX. Been looking at another Triumph, a 2013 Speedmaster.

I test rode the Triumph last weekend. I like how it feels and rides - only issue I had is that I was scraping the pegs on corners :) Glad the dealer didn't notice this, as I had to follow him on his bike for the test ride.

Trying to figure out what to ask for my bike. I was thinking $5,800. I have close to 13,000 miles on her.

Shes very clean with a few mods:

GB Exhaust
Diesel Moto Tail Lift (Subframe Spacers)
Diesel Moto Fender Eliminator
Oberon LED Turn Signals (have stock)
Oberon Bar End Mirrors (have stock)
LED Brake Light (Buell)
Tank and Frame Pads (Gripster Grip Pad)
Zero Gravity Tall Windscreen (have stock flyscreen)
Shorty Levers (have stock levers)
2010 Right Ram Air Intake (have stock)
Cross Roads Zero Degree Handlebars (have stock)

Bike is always kept in a garage and parked a covered space at my office. I do ride in all weather though, but she's cleaned as soon as possible. I have most of the stock items for someone that doesn't like the mods.

But, I really love my bike. Last few months I've been taking a few 500+ mile road trips and my butt hurts. If I can find a seat that works, I might keep the bike. I would like the Speedmaster for being able to carry stuff better though. Best would be having both, but my wife would kill me.

Ugh.

Ideas?

Sell Buell?? Those two words in combination does not compute. Just kidding. Good luck with the new purchase.

It's going to be hard to sell. Not 100% sure I want to do this. Too much fun on this, so I might not. Depends on what the Triumph dealer does with the price on the Speedmaster.

Tough choice. I know I couldn't do it. I'll trade you my jardine for your GB exhaust if you decide to sell though :D

I forgot to add a couple of items on the bike:

Front and rear Delrin/Aluminum Axle Sliders, with lift groove on rear
Carbon Fiber seat cowl
New Road Pilot 3's (Front/rear)

In the long run, I'm most likely not going to sell this bike. Too much fun and its unique.

Going to perform an oil change this weekend on her. Was in a local parts store and noticed that Royal Purple Max Cycle oil was on sale for $7/quart. So I bought some.
