I need a new rear tire and a 190 is what is on it now ( that's how I bought it). I am thinking of a 180 because they are cheaper. Buell designed them for this setup correct? (180)

180.

190 wont benefit you for regular riding or aggressive. So no need to spend the extra money. This could potentially turn into lets argue about tires thread. Maybe not

I liked my 190 better than the 180 in terms of handling. I bought it for the look. Worked out well and I stuck with 190.

I feel like the 180 I had turned in quicker. But te 190 I have now is more to my liking!

I like the way my bike handles with a 180, didn't like the 190 that was on the bike when I bought it.

+1 for the 190. Replaced the 180 power pure with the 190 power pure and noticed a difference immediately. Seems like the 190 is less twitchy and feels better planted in the twisties. This is on a cr.

I have a 190 and ride turns hard leaning over as far as I know and I feel secure with the extra weight.
It really depends in your riding style.
The 190 looks the part too.
Maybe if you've never use the 180 find a second hand one and try it out b 4 you cod up the cash.

Ya the 180 is second hand. I will give it a try on the 6 hour ride through the twisties from sw Mo into nw Ar.

WELL YOUR WRONG!!!!...... With all due respect....

Just kidding man!, glad you like it!

just FYI a 190/60-17 will NOT fit a stock XB12S swingarm no matter what the Dunlop Race tech's tell you...
