The 06 XB12ss I just bought has CRG levers on it. I've read on here that folks with aftermarket levers (specifically the knock of ones) have needed to grind down the mount a bit so it isn't constantly touching the plunger on the master cylinder. Does anyone know if this is necessary to do on the CRG levers? Is there an easy way to tell if it's contacting? What should the gap between the lever and the plunger be?

Thanks all!

lever has to have a small amount of freeplay between lever and plunger, doesnt have to be much a 1/16-1/32 is fine. without freeplay the plunger can block return hole and cause dragging and lockup.you can check visually easy enuf
