Bogs out at 4000rpm

I recently had to do a top end rebuild on my Uly, I had a valve drop in the cylinder. The bike runs great, idles fine, under moderate acceleration it seems to be great. Here in lies the problem, when I accelerate hard, it bogs out at 4000rpm and does want to come back until I let off the throttle. My local HD/Buell dealer is 3 weeks out and I can't wait that long.

Any ideas where to start trouble shooting this problem? I have seen similar posts in the past but I never see a solution.

What exactly in its entirety did your top end rebuild consist of? You did the repairs?

I just had the same thing happen to me. Ended up being the tps sensor.

I had the head repaired by a very reputable shop, new valve installed, new factory piston. The other wierd thing is that the hazards flash for 15 seconds after you start it.

I am getting the feeling that it may be a tips sensor.
