I know everybody has their opinions and I haven't had too much drama - this episode with the O2 sensor is the first real hassle.
The mechanic keeps advising me to sell it as soon as possible (he has 3 bikes with crank failures in the last 3 months), but I really love the bike.
My issue is that the bike is a 2009 model Uly with all the hard bags, I love riding it, 1203 V-twin, unique and only 25 000kms on. If I sell it I can probably get around US$5500 (equivalent).
Then what can you possibly buy that gives you the same value for money?
I haven't got another $5k to buy a similar spec bike.
My big issue is reliability (to an extent) and getting parts in South Africa.
My wife says sell, but I feel like riding it until the wheels fall off...
