So I did a few things to my 06 ss this summer. I added a rss and painted it to match my bike. I also painted my headlight. I made some axle sliders out of bar ends and painted them.I cut and molded a windscreen out of plexiglass. If you tuck in behind it it makes a noticeable difference over 70. I installed some 360 degree pegs and I put the OEM decals on the airbox as well

Are those foot pegs the chinese ones from eBay?

BEWARE. They snap for no reason under "normal" riding.

Thanks loki. And thank you got the heads up ben. I did notice they were a bit flimsy and light but the instructions called got loctite on the bolts so hopefully that will do

Thanks dirt! I painted the lower forks and I vinyl wrapped the upper forks. I painted with duplicolor semi gloss black. I did it almost a year ago and it still looks new. Its all in the prep work like any paint job. The vinyl wrap took a lot I mean ALOT OF PATIENCE. It came out pretty good. But if I had the funds at the time I would have just powdercoated it.

You did really did a great job on this bike!

You know you cant ever sell it right? You are bonded for life after all the hell it went through and beyond fixing it.

Thanks crash! this bike will be with me until I die! I've put too much sweat and worry into it and a few arguments with my wife too(she says I have an obsession, I think she may be right) and I'm not done yet. I really want to put an s tail on it and the 9 primary
