Hello guys , sorry If I don't have a good grammar or coherence , that's because I'm not from here and English is not my native language . As the title says I'm a new bueller , and also new to this forum ,but I'm very impressed about the amount of information I found here, so I spend a lot of time reading this forum for the last three months. Since I came here to U.S.A I felt completely in love with this type of bikes , off course, i didn't know anything about this bikes but I just wanted to have one , so finally after been looking for a while I found one ; the bike was parked in a garage for almost three years but It was in good shape with only 8010 miles on it , it is a 2005 xb12s lightning , so I didn't hesitate and I bought it . The first thing I did was taking it to the mechanic , changed all the fluids , new tires ,clutch cable , spark plugs, air filter ( k&n ) , adjust the primary chain , new spark plug cables , new mirror ( cheap amazon bar end mirror) , new blinkers , the bike was revised completely from the front to the rear tire . I believed that the bike is all stock .
The bad : the neutral light don't work and it only start pushing the clutch , between 1500 to 3000 rpm riding the bike doesn't feel smooth like some hick ups , the neutral is very hard to find some times , but some times the transmission feels so smooth and i find it easy . I have been riding the motorcycle for a month no problems at all , off course I don't know how this beast is supposed to ride but I am in total love and I enjoy every single ride so if there is any bueller who is willing to Share his knowledge , because i don't know anything about the ECM spy thing and a lot of stuff about this motorcycle I will appreciate . I didn't have the opportunity to see another bueller here in CORPUS CHRISTI TX or someone else in this forum willing to help just let me know thanks a lot guys .

Welcome to the familia! We like to see pics here so post some up. As far as hiccups go that's normal on a stock bike and could be smoothed with a tps reset and a little mapping. As far as the neutral light goes your primary chain may be too loose. By any chance did you post an ad on craigslist looking for other buellers? I'm askingbecause I'm form San Antonio.

Yes sir that's me I've been trying to find more buellers around , but san antonio is not that far thanks for the reply 100thwindow I appreciate it . I will upload some pics .

Did you like it guys ? Thinking about some mods but don't know where and how to start .

nice bike, welcome to the forum...you're on your way with mods already. turn signals, tail chop, mirrors, windscreen, frame pucks completed. you could add the right hand scoop, pulley cover, hidden rear brake, shorty levers and axle sliders. could remove the reflectors on the forks and belt guards. performance upgrades depends on what you want and willing to spend to do it. good luck

yes, twist the reflectors off the forks. , remove the belt guards and rear fender from swing arm.

Aftermarket muffler will save a lot of weight, also Race ECM will give you a better fuel map if you cannot reprogram.
Get the Ecmspy cable and do a TPS reset. there is a video on youtube explaining the tps reset.

make sure you suspension settings are set for "race" for your weight

Also, you should remove your passenger pegs if you are not using them... it saves weight and make sure you put the forward bolts back in the bike to secure your battery box.
