So I have to replace my rear master cylinder. Are other buell master cylinders interchangeable? I am having trouble finding a replacement. I work at a Harley dealership and its a pain to get these, if I could use another buells MC that would save me a lot of trouble.

also look at the top of your presure switch on top of the master cylinder,if its leaking, then it could be just the switch needs replacing,it will make it appear the master cylinder is bad

My master cylinder had seized, so I took it off and opened it up. It was rusted beyond anything I had ever seen, and the retaining rings holdong the ports in had fused to the inner wall of the master cylinder. I need a replacement for my 1125cr.

ok,I dont know if the xb will work for you.most master cylinders will interchagne even from different makes, but that is trial and error. If you find out if the xb will work for you then give me a holler and WE WILL WORK IT OUT.tHANKS

All the xbs were the same so any master will work. Unless you want to upgrade it and im making some brembo masters that will bolt on
