So I saw this right side scoop on eBay and thought $100 for this plastic scoop is not a bad deal. Once I be received the scoop I open it up to see scratches on the inside of the scoop I thought maybe it was just a molding that they ground off I looked a little more and realized that they scratched off the original part number from the Ulysses comfort. I was not very happy considering the comfort kit is $130 and you get a header guard I did not want to buy the kit because I would have leftover parts and thought that would be a waste of money. That was before I realized that this was the Ulysses scoop I emailed them asking why they don't just list the part as the Ulysses comfort kit scoop and not scratch off original part numbers send that I was unhappy and told them that I would have just bought the comfort kit if I would have known that's what they were selling. After a few days of no response I tried sending another email tonight to work something out. Trying to get to the email portion of eBay, it would not let me send them an email. I tried another route of contacting them through eBay it still did not work. So I'm going to assume that they realized they were caught in the scam, and somehow blocked me from emailing them. What I wanted to do to work this out was either get a few dollars back or send me the header guard but now that I cannot email them I am going to tell you guys not to do business with them but on a side note the scoop looks good should have just bought the comfort kit

Report the seller to ebay! And for future reference the Uly scoop can be bought for less than $60.

Yeah I know....I just thought with the description they made it. Not that they were just making 40.00 bucks. Im not sure on how to report them

It you paid with paypal, file a claim there. Sadly I have had to do this a few times but I have received my money back every time.

Yes it is my mistake for buying it. but it is clearly a uly scoop with the original buell pn ground off. Sold with the implication that this scoop is there own product. I got burnt whatever not the first time won't be the last. But the no response and unable to send them another message is very ****ty in my book.
I just wanted to spread the word that its not a new piece and I did not have a positive transaction

Yes bring it up to paypal and ebay under the fact that the seller is misleading customers and is defrauding parts. I went and reported the item. I hate when buellers dont do their research and spent way to much on these scoops.

If you make a claim and the seller doesnt respond, youll get your money back.

So how do I go about putting in a claim.
This is only the second time I got the shaft on eBay...the first was a hid kit for my truck that quit working with in a week told me to send it back so I did then 3 weeks later never heard back, emailed them they said I never told them I sent it back never heard back oh well back on topic.
Any help would be appreciated

look on your purchased items page,where it says leave feedback,there should be a triangle/arrow for more options,click on that and it should have a report buyer,and I think you can click on the leave feedback,and there will be an option there also.Dont say you paid too much and dont like they made monmey off you,just stick to the facts that they mislead there product.

x2. You bought a rss and that's what you got in the mail. Its a bummer but they have a picture of it and it looks identical to the uly one anyway. What was the advantage of paying more for this one that looks the same even though you thought it was different?

They sent you exactly whats in the pictures. Re-selling things is 99.9% of whats on e-bay.
I wouldn't buy from them anymore. As "Buell lovers" it's a shady thing to pick on noobs.

Loki nailed it. Its not that I over paid I don't care about 40 bucks " buy our kit" ". your xb will run cooler with our RSS" and the pn are lazily scratched off. If you gona screw me at least take some time to light the candles and enjoy it. Also unable to email them? Screw me then not talk to me.
I don't care about the money its everything else that pissed me off and just wanted to tell other 'noob' or 'uneducated' buellers not to buy this product

I just wanted to tell about MY screw up so other ppl didn't do the same thing. Sorry I didn't do more research and spend 250 on a scoop I wanted to but I have a nytro that needs some attention so I opted for a quick easy deal got burnt oh well. I will probably get a pegasus scoop next spring. Just tellin ppl not to deal with this seller that's all
