Get the bike back Saturday

Finally the bike will be complete sat and ready for pickup.. It has been a month and its killing me. Sat is going to be mid 60 so I will get a good chance to get some miles on the new motor this year. Yes the wheelie picture is an hmf before I got the keda rt-3.

Well after 230 miles on 2 days.. all I have to say is let er rip tater chip... this 2010 motor not only looks better but sounds better and feels like it has easily 10 more HP.. I ordered an ebr ecm for the keda and will be here tuesday.. should be good.. anyone know if the 10s made more power or not..

Nope. You might have a better built one, but the claimed hp/torque is the same afaik.

Yes it is a new motor.. and the 2010 motors just run so much more smoothly.. you cant hear any valve clatter or or any valve train noise at all and the dealership had told me that it would sound different. and the exhaust sounds different as well.. just sounds completely different.. almost like a complete race bike.. the note is just so crisp and refined its like nothing else.... doesn't sound anything like it did..

Maybe its just because its new. I didnt think they really changed anything it may end up a little different once its broken in.

Just from what iv seen and heard of it. Buell did a lot of things between the years if 08-10 with these motors constiantly improving them. Is bet it would be safe to say it might have a few more powers to the wheel. Also it's new too. But from what iv seen of it. I'm jealous hahah. There are more differences then what people think. Even the smaller things like clips. I see are different. Very nice bike Donnie sorry I didn't go out with you yesterday. Wind was humping my truck everywhere couldn't im again what it was on a bike.

Wait until you get about 5000 miles on it then see if it sounds different then your old one. Mine was really quiet until about then. I think the balance gears wear out pretty fast.

How much was the motor? Where did you buy it? How was the service?

The dealer had located it and the warranty covered the cost of the motor.. paperwork showed 6500 and some change
