After talking with people on facebook today and writing out recipes for various things, I was wondering what everyone on here likes to cook? If you have one please provide the recipe.

I have two or three big recipes people ask about.

1. Taco Roll
2. Jalepeno Chicken (traditional and BBQ)
3. Stir Fry

Taco Roll
1 can refried beans
1 crescent roll tube
1 LB ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 1/2 cups grated Mexican blend cheese
Shredded lettuce
2 diced tomatoes depending on size
Sliced pickled jalepenos
Sour cream optional

Directions
1. Separate the crescent pastry and lay out in a circle, use a rolling pin to flatten the dough into a circle and remove the dough in the center until the circle is the size you wish it to be.
2. Brown meat by heating it in the microwave in a large bowl (I tend to use non-defrosted meat so this is my defrosting) add taco seasoning as directed on package, after the meat is browned mix in the cheese and the baked beans with the meat.
3. spread meat mixture in a circle inside the crescent rolls. Pull crescent roll points over meat and cheese and tuck in. Use the dough you have removed to cover any gaps.

Bake at 350 degrees until pastry is golden brown (30 min).

4. Add remaining 1/2 cup of cheese, chopped lettuce, tomato, black olives, and jalapenos into the middle of the ring, then add a few dollops of sour cream if desired, before serving.

other taco roll variation (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10201181818201076set=a.114092427682 6.21891.1039004740&type=1&theater)

Jalepeno Chicken

• Ingredients: 3-5lbs of boneless/skinless chicken breasts
• large can of pickled jalepenos with carrots and onions (found in hispanic foods)
• lemon juice
• Worcestershire sauce
• Cream cheese
• Shredded cheese
Other variation includes BBQ sauce, Sweet Baby Ray’s (if used baste chicken with the juice mixture every 10 to 20 minutes)
I tend to cook 3 lbs of skinless, boneless chicken breasts at a time.
preheat oven to 450 (not vital to preheated when you put dish in)
Open can of Pickled jalepenos and pour juice into 9x13 high walled pyrex or similar baking dish, add 3 or 4 jalepenos to bake with the chicken. (add two tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and three tablespoons of lemon juice and raise level with water until ¾ of the chicken is covered)
Season the chicken to your liking, I tend to use lawry’s all purpose seasoning salt and cookies seasoning. (alternative recipes I have used included adding italian dressing mix or just italian dressing, or a small amount of bbq powder)
place chicken in oven and let cook for 30 to 40 minutes
while chicken is cooking remove stems from the jalepenos you are going to stuff into the chicken, slice open the jalepeno on one side and place a dab of cream cheese inside.
Take out the chicken and slice through the middle so that it forms a pouch then stuff the cream cheese filled peppers inside.
place the chicken back into the dish with the opposite side up and cook for another 30 to 40 minutes
Remove dish and lightly sprinkle with shredded cheese of your choice. I use a mexican blend or mozzarella.

My stir fry is a general stir fry with steak in it, baby corn, water chestnuts, peas, carrots, rice, bamboo, and a ginger sauce.

Pan fried club sandwich.

Equal parts of london broil roast beef, oven gold turkey and tavern ham. I normally use Boar's Head brand, it's a little more expensive but it's good meat. Shred it all up (2-3 slices each will make 2 sandwiches) and pan fry it mostly just to heat it up in just a little bit of light olive oil. Little bit of seasoning (garlic salt, mango seasoning, maybe chicago steak seasoning sometimes) and mix it as it's sizzling. Salt and pepper are optional.

Second pan, get it on medium heat, toast some King's Hawaiian sandwich buns with butter to brown them a little. If you've never had King's Hawaiian bread, I suggest getting some asap, some of the sweetest bread I've ever run across.

Back to the first pan, as the meat starts to curl just a little, add some provel cheese (it's a mix of mozzarella, swiss and provalone, but it's not the same as just using those 3 cheeses) and melt it in. I sometimes add a little bit of hot sauce (Franks Hot sauce, damn that **** is HOT!) for flavor, but my wife hates the hot sauce. Dish it out onto the buns in equal amounts, serve hot. Goes good with chips or fries.

And oddly enough, I can't stand Imo's pizza. Yeah, they use provel cheese, but something about their pizza just doesn't get it for me. Pirrone's on the other hand, yeah, I can go for that.

It's awesome, the crescent roll has a sweet taste to it that sets off the taco flavor.
