Widest tire on Stock rear rim.

Hi there.
I have been looking around on forums for a long time, and people talk about 190/55 17 is the widest you can Mount, but sometimes I read people who have put 200/50 17 on. Is there anybody who has tryed a 200 tire on there Stock wheel?

For the 1125's you can only go to a 200. Your damn damn close to the belt at that.

I had a 200 on my 1125cr. Just enough room to feel "ok" about it... I also had a 200 on my xb12s and i had a little more room to wiggle... no issues other than tire flattens out quicker

I've got a 200 (don't remember height) on my 09 scg. Plenty of space.
The edges of the tire are damn near vertical, and will NEVER get used... so giant chicken strips. But the look is good. As for handling, it's still sharper than my Ninja 650r... but i don't have enough seat time on a Buell with "proper" tire sizing to give a good comparison.

Just mounted my 200/50 17 tire on the Stock rim. No problem and it rides really good. The Cr rear / xbs end looks perfekt now. :)
