I'm new to the forum as I've just purchased a 2008 1125R. Nice bike I will say.
I had the airbox cover off today and noticed the Bosch MAP sensor tucked in a bracket located to the rear of the airbox.
Upon observation I noticed it has a nipple and which look hose would have attached ed like a neoprene o-ring which would normally tell me that a hose is dis-connected. After about an hour searching for a hose or just a connection point where the hose would possibly attach, I gave up.
My bike idles fine but upon decel, it doesnt back down like you'd expect. It still pulls around 3k RPM's until clutch is activated, which to me could be a common symptom of a failing MAP sensor, or one that isn't connected.
I believe it has OEM ECM still in it.
Could someone steer me in a postive direction about a possible hose that would connect to MAP sensor.
Thanks

Could you get a picture? I may know the part your talking about but I don't know for sure. If it is what I'm thinking it doesn't need to be plugged in just sitting on the lower airbox where there is a clip to hold it.

Ya if your talking about that black sensor with a green sticker in the middle. That connects to nothing. But sits in the lower air box directly in the middle under your seat. Once I get my bike put back together I can post a picture of were my is and how it clips into a bracket.

That is more than likely the barometer sensor. It sets akwardly.

Ya the green sticker actually sets on the bottom and the little nipple lookin thing (haha) with the I ring sits up so you could see it. That's how it sits in the clip
