Front brake caliper

Hello, I just bought a 2006 Blast and it needed front tire really bad. Got front tire. Had trouble removing caliper, finally all parts fell off and got wheel off. Now having trouble with the spring in caliper. Can't tell from downloaded manual exactly how it goes. Don't know if mine is bent or not. Anyone have any advice about putting spring on. Thanks for any help.

Could I just leave the spring out of caliper? Can't tell it is important or not. Cannot figure out how to install, and tired of messing with!
