i have a few more pics but can figure out how to get photobucket pictures to work

Great pics. Congratulations! I gotta see if the local dealer has one in. That white is the serious hotness. I'm just lucky they didn't make it in the yellow or I'd be selling non-vital organs right now.

holy shitake that thing is pretty. looks way better than the person-less pictures.

i want one.

I will say this first and formost. THE ONLY bike i have owned is my 2009 xb12scg.

Initial analysis after 15 miles.....

It feels like you sit on this thing like a "crotch rocket", even having the higher bars it feels like my balls are being squished by the airbox cover. The xb seems to sit you up a little straighter where as the sx seat seems to lean downward a little more. this is somewhat expected seeings how the rx and sx are the same bike minus fairings.

The shifting on this thing is so damn smooth. My xb when you shift gears it clunks in. You know you shifted a gear. On the sx you pull up on your foot and you feel nothing. The clutch pull is tough, but when your riding and not thinking about it its not obvious.

The sx seems to be a little more top heavy than the xb. This might be due to the higher seat height? My xb is afterall the scg version.

when pushing this thing around it seems like there is no friction in the motion at all.

when breaking it in the dealership told me not to exceed 5000rpm until i get 500 miles on the bike so i havent pushed it at all.

when riding in tonight the hi-beam did not seem correct. Idk how to explain it.... something seems off about it. It almost looked like i was shinning a flash light straight ahead. There didnt appear to be any spread on the light beam.

when you take the passenger seat off the strap stays attached to the bike and you have to slide the seat through the strap.... not very user friendly, but im sure there is a reason for it.

when the clutch is pulled in the gear indicator switches from what gear your in to "--"

These are just a few things im thinking about with very little time on the bike. If you have any questions let me know, i will try to answer best i can.

i have some pics of the xb and the sx next to each other in the garage but i cant figure out how to get photobucket pictures to post. ill work on it lol

Mmmmm. She is pretty. Plus one for the white. If only they would put out some white rx's..... Maybe for the 2015's?

Congratulations [up] you've got yourself a beaut!

I'm in the Las Vegas, NV area. Luckily I've got a friend that works at the dealer so he lets me know when they get anything new or at a crazy deal in.

I'll call him tomorrow and ask if he's forgotten to tell me they have one in.

Congrats; looks great!

Conventional wisdom is now tending more towards the more aggressive 'method B' break-in procedure...

The RX is the same, it is a very narrow beam. It may need adjusted some, mine did as it was low and to the right. It's a pita on an RX, I don't see that changing on the SX.

Awsome bike man! To be honest I was unsure about this model from just seeing the ad pics floating around, but with a person on it, it looks really awesome.

Congrats![up]

That thing is so sexy, I would totally spend a couple nights in jail if I got to test ride a demo.

Congrats man.

I took the strap off of the seat of the RX, cleaned it up a bit and makes it so much easier.

Just wait until you crack the throttle at 9k rpm. I did it last night on the highway, in third, around 95mph, Sky high front wheel, shifted into fourth, put the wheel down around 137. My god these things have power.

The high beam is a pretty focused beam, but is great for cutting through the dark, makes so much light, 7000 lumen actually.

Awesome looking bike! That white looks tits. Breaking in a new bike is fun, learning all the ins and outs.

I have a new Softail Slim, the gear position indicator does the same thing. Little annoying.
