Can anyone give me some info on these saddle bags? The only image of them I can get on google shows them as part of a set that included a tail bag installed on a blast. Would they work on an xb? Has anyone put them on an xb?

you can make blast bags work on a XB. I did. I have regular XB bags on now but I still have my blast bags. I got them for a steal at $20 so I made them work for a while. The blast bags had 3 straps that go underneath the seat. I just cut the middle strap as it was to short for the width of the tail.

Yeah, the only thing that drew my interest with these bags are that they are Buell bags, otherwise I would probably just continue using a tank and tail bag.

neil: are those the bags that a guy in hanover is shopping on CL? he's had them on there forever, i thought his price was reasonable, but having used identical jobs i can tell ya that it takes some work and patience to get them installed correctly and keep them situated. they'll test your patience for sure.

John, yeah it is the guy in Hanover. I've been going back and forth on whether to try it or not.

he won't ship them neil and hanover is a bit of a drive from you so perhaps go over with cash, get them for $40 cash offer, and have a go at it? not much available these days in the luggage arena for that kind of money with added benefit of probably being able to sell to board member for at least that much $ if you tire of them.
