The HD dealer I go to for parts as an 2000 M2 Cyclone for sale. They did a lot of work to it. They are buell inclined. They want $5000 for it. Has 4000mi on it. Came in as a basket case. They rebuilt it right. Now to my dilemma. I'm thinking of trading my 2012 v-rod muscle for it. They would have to give me cash for the difference. Or just sell the v-rod, then go buy the M2. Decisions decisions?

$5k is a bit high, they going to offer a warranty on the rebuild?
I agree, it's over priced. Tubers are great bikes, though. I have a '99 S3 and it is the best bike I have ever owned.

If you can talk them down, go for it.

I paid $3200 for my S3 with bags, about four years ago. It didn't need much more than wheel bearings, fork seals and some clean up. It had 27,000 miles on it but still runs great and uses almost no oil.

My first buell was an 02 cyclone. Still miss that bike! 5 is high even for those miles. If you could get it for 4 (still high but a hard to find bike) then I'd say go for it! Id sell the v rod outright. Put it on here if ya do!
