So yesterday I picked up this lady. 7650 miles, EBR ecm, HMF exhaust. Damn near showroom quality. Couple questions about this thing. The book says when doing an oil change if it's not Harley to use 15-50 oil. Can't I use 20-50? Secondly, what are some basic mods, such as a breather reroute, that should be done? Thanks for any help!http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/7016_20150511101538_L.jpg

20/50 will be just fine.
What year is the bike, 08's didn't have the charging problems 09+ had. Other than that check for the typical clutch weeping.

Do you know if the bike has a oiling rotor? Without it, it will eventually burn the stator up again. Its also a good idea to upgrade to a mosfet rectifier.

The bike needs the oiling rotor done, where would I get that done?

I think twin cycles is the only one now that EBR is down, and I think you have to send yours in and they machine it and send it back. 50dro could tell you more.
