Does anyone know if all balls makes a set of steering head bearings for the 1125 R ? By chance know the part number.? The All Balls catalog list part numbers for the XB, does anybody know if they're the same,? If not does anybody know the part numbers for SKF's?

Pyramid parts sells Lightning and 1125 steering head bearings under the same part # (SSB-BR63).
All Balls lists 22-1032 as the number for "all" Buells and includes the Blast as well.
Take that what you will. I have a set of All Balls 22-1032 for my CR haven't installed yet.

the factory part# for the steering head bearings on an 1125 is E002.1AM
Can any one check the part number for the XB's and see if it is the same number? At work right now and the firewall is preventing me from downloading the XB parts manual from buellmods.
Thanks

thanks, thats what I needed to know. Cooter, you may want to compare the two real close before trying to change.
Anybody out there have an old set from a bearing change that they haven't thrown away yet?

I can pull my upper triple off the firebolt when I get home. I started a thread with bearing numbers because they are always so hard to find, and still missing an aftermarket steering head number.

well, since the factory part numbers are different wouldn't do me much good. Appreciate the offer though.
just checked, the 1125, 1190RS, 1190RX/SX all have different part numbers for the steering head bearings.

I kept my oem xb steering head bearings. I kept them to use to hammer the new ones in, I could measure them with a caliper if you want...
Also, I feel I need to say that this pisses me off...

snrusnak- Appreciate the offer. Don't make a special effort, but I would be interested in the ID, OD, width and any flange measurements is they have flanges. Plan on picking up a XB in the next year or two and it would be good to know.

Ya, I'll them check first. The difference in the factory numbers may just be a superseded part.

I have an extra logix. I spent a solid month cross referencing every book ikt he business and went to several specialty bearing shops and came up with no suitable alternative than the oem. It's a stupid odd bearing.
I literally just got home from DC so I'll send it off to you woth some other stuff I found shortly.
