Feel stupid asking this but keep finding conflicting or vague info on this so not sure what exactly I have; if its a true White Lightning edition bike or not. White plastics, deep candy blue frame, and bare aluminum wheels with what I would describe as a wide three spoke. Tried Google-ing white lightning edition and images of my bike come up but tons of others do as well, and having trouble finding info on the 2001 year model in specific. Just not clear and am looking for clarity.

wow Buelly, I thought you had a good question so I started searching. Not really a lot of info on the specifics of the 2002 X1W vs the standard X1. If your is titled as 2001 that may be a mistake by the DMV in your state or the original state of sale. If you look at your manufacturers decal on the steering head area of the frame it should show the year and month of actual manufacture. The model year is usually the next calender year. The fact that the X1W is a 2002 model seems to be pretty well documented. Anyway, I'll keep digging to see what I can find on this. Hopefully some one here has one and can chime in on the history. I did find this on the wheels though.

Could be wrong but I thought they had number on gas cap no. ooo of 500.
