I just would like it a little louder..

I know on past bikes it was common to just drill holes or take out one of the baffles..

anyone do that with these?

can I do so and not need to re-map etc...?

- Thee Exhuast Mod (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Do-It-Yourself-Buell-Mods/-Thee--exhaust-mod-by-Captain-Ron)

With this mod, a TPS reset is probably all you'd need; if that.

Steven, you think I'd need to tps reset?

I wouldn't think you'd even have to without changing intake?

Seems slightly different for everyone. It's always suggested doing a TPS reset after doing a major mod like exhaust/intake. But some have gotten away with not having to. I'd suggest getting one, since you just did the mod and it's listed in the manual as a regular maint. item anyway.

i had planned to to this yesterday and after stripping out the head of TWO Torx bolts.. I finally got the chin fairing off, the other cover off and it looked like taking the muffler off woudl be a B*tch! there are lines (brake?) lines running IN the muffler clamp!

did you guys just take off the hose-type clamp or the bigger bolts that holds it ALL to the bike and what about the lines?

Yes, just remove the 2 band clamps at the rear and the 1 at the front. Then no worries on the oil lines.

Hey XB12ed.. so that's it? take off the two band clamps in back and front and the muffler can come down?
