Hello,
Forgive me in advance, because I probably am posting this is the wrong section. I just purchased a 2003 XB9S with 1,300 miles for $2,199. I'm looking for a luggage system to go with it, preferably all hard cases. If you could be so kind as to point me in the right direction, or give me a link, that would be great! Will buy new or used!

you have several choices and bottom line is textile are challenging....hard case "lockers" incredibly expensive. but the choices are out there. back in the day buell offered factory textile or what's called "soft bags" which in essence mimicked all other soft bags on the market. straps across seat area....straps under tail section.....straps to blinker stalks....you know the drill. they're still out there as used but pricey for what they are if even located. having performed a fair share of bag add-ons to assorted XB's i can tell you the bottom line is that any textile bag set needs real steel supporting brackets on their backside or they just don't work. those brackets must be hand fabricated. the aftermarket offers nothing and never will. lack of demand. ulysses bags and brackets can be adapted but again are pricey used and the fabrication mods required to adapt them extremely challenging. kawi concours and suzuki vstrom hard bags can and have been adapted to XB's but again the fab mods extremely challenging. both SW moto-tech and Hepco and Becker did and continue to offer a complete lockable hard-case luggage set for the XB line and super top quality. prepare to have your local banker prep a home equity line-of-credit loan for you if making the purchase.

I have decided to fabricate my own. For the cost being asked by other companies, I assume I can fab my own up for around 30$ without the side cases. Thank you for the heads up!
