I am wondering if any one knows where I can get handle bars that would put me in a more upright position for my 1125R? I have a set for my Honda CBR but I haven't found very many part/aftermarket parts for the 1125r yet. Any information on where I can get more parts for my Buell would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

If you were to get the CR triple tree, you could do the CR high bar conversion. It should total around $350

I just put a set of Convertibars on mine. They are adjustable and they are great. www.convertibars.com

I am planning on trying the lightning upper triple clamp, this weekend. I know the 1125's use larger forks but the upper clamp measures the same so I will give it a try, and let you know how it goes.

my biggest concern would be bar clearance around the fairing... wouldn't a higher mounted bar hit the fairing?

Update, the Lightning upper triple clamp fits fine. I will begin work on combining the two ignition switches soon. (also a concern with using CR stuff, the ignition switch would be mounted on about a 45 degree angle coming out the right side)

I found some other info on one of these boards indicating that there is a difference in width between the 1125 and the XB triple clamps. I will check into it and post a few pics soon. The superbike style bars I installed on a Lightning upper triple clamp, allow the master cylinders to clear the fairing. Here are a few part numbers for others doing higher bar conversions.
N0307.1AT throttle cable
N0308.1AT "
N0103.1AT clutch line
(all parts for 2010 1125 CR with standard high bars)

the bars are stainless steel, so you could take them to a metal shop, and have them do this for you with a MIG welder, preferably.

Thanks John, I check every once in a while to see if any one has added to the thread. I am due back in the states in Oct, I have been gone for a couple years, I will probably get the high bars then. Thanks for the reply.
