Hey guys,

I just got the race ecm, thanks extremelow, and Im having some trouble.

Bike info
'06 Xb12Ss
Breather reroute mod
KN Air filter
Jardine Pipe.
Buell factory Race ECM

It starts up just fine but after 15 seconds it starts to drop under 1000 rpm then eventually shuts off (about 30 seconds after start). If I give it gas I have to roll on pretty hard or it just dies. It doesn't seem like an idle issue because I can't just hold the throttle at a higer RPM, it'll still want to die unless I give it more.

Any ideas? Are there any threads about this already?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Adam

If I'm not mistaken the bike isn't getting a good read from the newly installed Race ECM.

Not sure about the Jardine setup with the Race ECM, but I do know when I installed the Buell Race Muffler, K&N, and Race ECM I had to do a ride/learn in with the newly installed ECM.

Yeah, pretty sure there is always a short learning time frame for the ecm's.

You may just need to baby it for a shirt period until it runs smoother then, begin to ride it normally.

You already do a TPS reset? Yeah, you Have to get you a learn-in ride somehow.

Adam, you might want to call Terry at JTS Performance 707-996-6103. These guys know Buells inside and out. They did my 9, and runs great. Check out their web site. Brian.

TPS reset is a must after replacing ECM.

Then do your learn/ride.
