So I just got the lowering pegs and I was able to adjust the shift lever with no problem, but I can't figure out how to lower the brake.
Thanks!

which lowering pegs?
maybe a picture to get a view on things?
think it's just adjusting the angle in which it's fitted.

This is not me, but here is a picture of the peg, as well as a walkthrough I found of the procedure, however if you read it at the end the dude who did this also could not figure out how to adjust the brake.

ok, at the rear of the brake, you can adjust it a bit.
at the brakelight switch you have a bolt with 2 nuts.
step 1: loosen the lower one.
step 2: adjust the upper nut, you'll see that the brake-peg is moving (up/down depends on which way you're turning)
step 3: when in desired position, tighten the lower nut again.
dubbelcheck: you can not lower the brake that much, you still need some movement space for the brake-light switch and brake before they engage.
so unless you adjust the brake-switch too, you're brakelight and brake will be on all the time.
other option is to buy another brake-peg
hope this helps ;)

Thanks, you were right. I tried that before but there is a rubber gasket over that top nut and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to move that, but it worked out.
