I have built this conversion before. You just need the seats, tail section, subframe, cowl, licence plate bracket, undertail, and lock cylinder setup up for the rear seat. Pretty easy to do. Bascally a bolt on set up. Costs arount $550 to do last time I checked.
We called it the Lightning Bolt [smirk] lol

I work at a dealership here in the states. You actually have to piece it together from a Firebolt, part number by part number. If you want me to give you a list of the part numbers so you can go to your local dealer to pick it all up, I can put something together for you.

Or just get the parts off of E bay for a lot less than from the stealer! I got all the plastics (Except front fairing)for about $150 all in great condition!

Yeah but you need more than just the plastics to do the conversions from a Lightning to a Firebolt tail. You need the inner sub-frame, hardware, undertray and miscellaneous other stuff. Kinda hard to find that kinda stuff on eBay, but plastics are common place on there.

These should be all the part numbers that you need and the quantities you need also. Some of these part numbers may be superceded since this book was out, but you can find the new part numbers you need from these part numbers. let me know if you have any questions.

That is a black tail section and seat cowl with smooth seats. You can do the perforated seats like on the XB12R if you would like for a little more....

There are smooth vinyl seats (XB9R) and there are perforated vinyl seats (XB12R). Just take that parts list to a local dealer in your area. If I quote you a price and its different in your area, your parts guy down there is going to be pissed if I give you a lower price.
