I have almost 7000k on my XB12Ss and my Diablos are almost done for...what the heck? My Dad's tires on his BMW 1200RT had 18000k on them before he changed them!
Which tires are good and sticky for sport riding and last long?

Buy the one's on the BMW. But does it carve the way your Buell does. Hard to get the best of both worlds. Look for a dual compound tire. They are harder in the center for longer wear and softer on the side for corners.

buell will wear your tires faster since it has more low-end torque.
bmw has alot of torque, but it's more in mid-area, so the bike is already at speed.
michelin pilot power ct2, excellent sports riding (also track) and now have about 8000k on them and still have alot more to go.
the feedback of the tire is very good.

You live in Europe and you drive a Buell! Good on you man! If I were out there I think I would ride a Triumph Speed Triple 1050!

think buell is more popular in euro country than it is in it's own back yard [smirk]
also, we don't have these huge highways, so it's all about the corners here :p:D
