Well, the 8th of September is my first track day, bike will have just had it's first service so all should be ok there.
Any tips or suggestions before I head out?

Yeah, don't crash.
As simple as that sounds, I'm serious, especially if it's also your road bike. There really is no reason to push a bike *that* hard at a track day unless it's either a race bike or a bike you don't care if you crash. Approach your limits carefully, remember, it's a track day and not a track hour, so as funny as this may sound, don't be in a hurry to be in a hurry.
Also, make double sure that your bike is properly prepared as it should be. Most tracks or organizations will requite this, but for starters, your sidestand should be removed, your turn signals removed, your headlights and taillights taped, and your oil and transmission plugs safety wired. With Buell mufflers being held on by bigass hose clamps, you'd best safety wire those as well.
Most of all, have fun. :)

check oil, tire pressure & thread, etc...
tire pressure can be set a bit less then normal road use, since they will get warmer then usual (hot air expands)
make sure your suspension is set correctly.
don't follow the guy in front of you...keep your own pace ;)
