ignition switch

I found out that I needed an ignition swith for my 2001 x-1. I am getting frustrated with the harley shop because it has been over a month and they keep saying that the switch is ordered from another shop in kansas. I live close to colorado springs CO.

Get one from Americal SPort Bike ASB.com. I think is is around $24 including two keys.

Thanks for the help. I picked up the part from America SPot bike ASB.com as recommended and paid like 31 bucks. I just went back to the harley shop and picked up my bike. It had been their for over 7 weeks and I agreed to pay just the cost of diagnosing it. Obviously I could have raised more hell but I was just happy to get my bike back. They know I have two other Harleys and I want be back anytime soon.[smirk]

A Ignition switch from my 03 dyna even has the same terminal end. My X1 switch failed 100 miles from home but wiggling the key got it started. I would think other years and models use the same switch.
