I am a little confused. My 2004 Buell xb12s that I just got last week has been riding well. Love the turns this thing makes, however I have heard twice an electronic beep two separate times. Today once and a few days ago again. Anyone experience this or is it just me? No warning lights have come on.Anyone have any ideas or know of this?

Does it only beep once or is it continual until the bike is turned off. If it's continual stop and get off and track it down while it's doing it. I had this happen once about 20 years ago in a car. When it got annoying enough to track it down I found a buddies pager stuck in the back seat.

i doubt that's going to be the problem in this case, though :p

No, of course not but cell phones can beep to let you know of a missed call.

I'll go with the alarm theory. My Uly makes a lot of weird noises, but absolutely none of them could be described as an electronic beep.

I think thats called the horn. Its that little button on the handlebar. You use when people piss you off or when you see someone you know on the curb. Thats what mine does. jk :):):)

HaHaHa, Mnbuellman. Ironic you bring up the Horn!, I took it on today and apparently there is a Safety Recall recall on wiring (horn) and my bike falls under the manufacturing dates. Anyways, the noise was partly due to a wire being rubbed and when the wire rubbed it set off the horn, but not as loud! This one is a first for me! I hope the rest is smooth sailing from here on!
