So I am still floating out here in the Gulf of Mexico at work. We just had a crew-change and a friend brought out the Jan. 2010 edition of Sort Rider magazine. I just finished reading through it and I am pissed off at Harley all over again. It's the 2010 buyers guide edition and they have all the Buells listed, and an article about "The Demise of Buell". Stating everything that we have already heard plus the mention that Harley sold out on America's Sportbike only to start selling the MV Agusta. So the got rid of a bike, that they say they weren't selling enough of, only to start selling a bike that costs $30, 000. Where is the logic in this? Also in various places through the mag. I spotted several Buells, more than usuall. Why is it that some people don't recognise something's greatness until it is gone?? Sorry for ranting, just been stuck on the boat for too long and itching to get back home to my baby (08 xb12s)

MONEY!!!! the reality of it is that Harley is ran by capitalist (good thing) and buell just wasn't making enough money. Try to get someone you know to sell their jap bike and buy an american bike, it just wasn't going to happen. all the squidworths want HP/SPEED its shallow but so true.:(

Harley is selling the MV name now.
I've got the same issue&its another painfull reminder, like you said, reopening the wound...
Hopefully, aside from racing bikes, this isn't the last of a good thing for Buell.
Stay safe mate!;)
