1125R

[FISHERZ]

I HAVE A 08 1125R WITH A 09 MOTER FITTED.
GEARBOX SEEMS TO BE VERY CLUNKLY AND TIGHT AND LOUD..SOUNDS LIKE CRAP---ANYONE ELSE SUFFER THIS...I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAY ALL ARE LIKE THIS ?.....MMMM DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT....HOW LONG BEFORE IT ****S ITS SELF..? HELP

my gear box is definitely not loud and clunky, might click into 1st from neutral but after that its nice and smooth. I would talk to someone else or go to another dealer.

mine is silky smooth. maybe they put an xb engine in lol

Mine is pretty smooth for the most part. I have had somw false neutrals in 6th gear. But, +1 on koko, nothing like my xb was.

I've heard others complain about clunkiness in these trannies, but I have to believe that they were comparing them to some silky smooth Japanese ones.

The one in my '08 1125R feels pretty damn nice and smooth, but the bike still only has about 500 miles on it. Just wait until the weather warms up a bit!

Yeah they are loud. It seems like all Buells have clunky trannys
