What are my options[confused] for the eliminator kits? I'm getn a stainless d&d slip-on, barend mirrors, K&N filter, have it tuned, and the eliminator kit. I bought this new bike while I was stil payn on my lightning so I'm goin all out with this one. I want this bike to look really nice. Thanks all.

I think the jardine fender eliminator kit is the cleanest. http://www.starcycle-usa.com/catalog/46-5001-03.jpg

I've seen ASB's billet fender eliminator. It's very high quality, but it's too damn expensive. The jardine is $100 less than ASBs putting it around $65

Awesome! I thought all kits were a couple hundred plus so $65 bucks is right up my alley. Got a link to any places that have a good business reputation or should I just google it?

You can buy directly from Jardine, or you can get it on amazon. Click here for amazon link (http://www.amazon.com/JARDINE-FENDER-ELIMINATOR-1125R-46-5001-03/dp/B0022YDLM6)

I liked the Jardine. Think I got mine from A S B, but not positive. Either way it was about $65, clean install, looks great when done. You'll note in the attached picture that I cut away the under-tail plastic to let the white part of the taillight shine onto the plate. Yes, same kit for the CR as what I used on my '09R.

Spewin.. we cant run these in Oz.. cops r all over it. If caught riding with one on, its an automatic defect. Then need to buy a day permit ($40) to ride to the inspection centre, then $120 to have the defect removed... all because they call the rear fender a mud guard... its got a hugger you stupid F@#ks...!!!!![mad]

Hey Paul, I haven't installed a new tail yet, still trying to design my own. All I can tell you is that I had to pull both seats off and the top plastic off of the tail section to safely unplug two turn signal wires that were too short to get a hold of. Other than that, if you have two hands you can do it.

Has anyone tried the Evotech fender eliminator? It has the integrated license plate LED. I'm still trying to decide myself.

I made one i used my bolt plate frame and made a filler out of thick plexi glass. Remounted my turns in the plastic of the bolt tail and making a new bracket for it
I also removed the leg for the third bolt so i have some extra space for storage.
No brain it will not work on a xbs completely different tail sections.
