First off, thanks to Al and Joanne at ASB for being a spectacular source of parts for us. My order shipped same day and got here (east coast) when he said it would.

My 25th Birthday was this past Thursday and I ordered a few small things to add to Ginger:
- 2010 LED taillamp
- Integrated plate lamp
- Uly frame pucks
- Oil change supplies (washers, filter)
- Jardine fender eliminator (not from ASB)

Install of the LED lamp was a breeze: cut the 2010 connectors off the taillamp and crimp on three male spade connectors that connect to the stock 2009 connectors. For the plate light, you have to cut the connector off and extend the wiring a bit so it'll reach the female bullet connectors on the bike ... then jump crimp on two male bullet connectors and you're done.

The undertail plastic also needs to be trimmed so the plate light can shine through. I tried to do a very clean job and I think it looks nice ... first rough cuts with a Dremel, then a sanding drum, then by hand with sandpaper.

Difference between running light and brake light is very pronounced and it's a lot brighter than the 2009 unit (sorry, no side by side). I like it a lot, especially with the Jardine fender eliminator.

Frame pucks fit nice. Clean the area with the two viles of cleaning chemical/adhesion promoter, let dry, heat up frame and puck adhesive with hair dryer and stick'em on. A pretty good amount of force is needed to make the pucks conform to the frame, but the adhesive pads on the back of the pucks are pretty strong. Pay special attention to getting the edges pressed down hard so they don't come up.

The only thing I haven't installed yet is the Powerlet and GPS mount! That'll be this week sometime ... I'll post it up as well.

I also took off the front reflectors on the bottom of the forks. No biggy: twist off with some force.

Westminster in Carroll County. Sucks trying to find a nice license plate bracket and backing plate so it looks a little cleaner. Damn odd-sized MD tags, lol.

Looks good! However, what's the point of the frame pucks? :D

.... to protect the frame. I don't trust the plastic radiator to support the weight of the bike in a get off or tip over. Some who have low sided the 1125s experienced frame damage at that exact area because the pods didn't do their secondary job or the bike rolled enough to get damage on the frame. Hence, frame pucks. :D

They are the Ulysses frame pucks from ASB: http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-prodshow/17125.html

The plate light is a regular 194 bulb. I'm going to change mine to an LED at some point tho. Send a message to Al at ASB about the plate light ... it's Buell p/n Y0514.7AA

Hey RT, what part of Mich you in. I'm in Ada (GR). I bought a 09 CR in black from GR Harley in Nov. 09 and haven't had a chance to ride it at all since because of the poor wx. What after market exhaust is that ? Looks good!

Here's the pics of the latest mods ... pretty happy with how the bike sits now. Next up is exhaust.

POWERLET SUPPLIES:
- Low-Profile Powerlet Socket PSO-007 (http://www.powerletproducts.com/product/lowprofile-powerlet-socket/285)
- Powerlet Basic Plug to 6" SAE Cable PAC-008-06 (http://www.powerletproducts.com/product/powerlet-basic-plug-to-sae-garage-duty-cables/315)
- Powerlet to Mini-USB Cable PPC-015 (http://www.powerletproducts.com/product/plmini-usb/260)
- Mini-USB to Garmin GPS adapter cable PPC-024 (http://www.powerletproducts.com/product/miniusb-adapter-for-garmin-gps/357)

This is what Powerlet plug looks like -- this one's for the SAE to Powerlet adapter cable for my battery tender.

Here's it plugged in. The Powerlet is completely weatherproof and has a spring-loaded door that covers the receptacle when not in use. I drilled a hole in the left side of the headlamp assembly to install the receptacle and ran a 12 gauge power wire (fused, of course) from the battery, following the factory harness, to the front up under the flyscreen. The receptacle is grounded at the factory location under the headlamp assembly.

GPS MOUNT SUPPLIES:

- RAM U-bolt mount RAM-B-149ZU (http://ram-mount.com/CatalogResults/PartDetails/tabid/63/partid/082065077045066045049052057090085/Default.aspx)

Here's the U-bolt and RAM ball mount on the left side of the clubmans.

With the hourglass bracket and nuvi 200W/250W holder attached.

The whole shebang ... either up high for easy viewing when you're in an unfamiliar area, or down low when not in use or just in the speed mode or on a familiar route.

I also swapped out the parking/running lamp in the headlight assembly while I had it out. Got it from autolumination.com. It's a 194 size bulb with 9 red SMT LEDs. I think it looks badass, and honestly you can barely see it during the daytime or nighttime with the HIDs on. Mostly just for looks when parked at night.

Those pucks are pretty stealth. Had to look three times to see them.

Soooo I may be opening myself up for ridicule (& I'm too lazy to walk to the garage to see for myself) but how does the running lamp come on without the headlights coming on? Am i missing something here?

By the way, looks badass!

Ok, so I un-assed myself & figured out that in park mode only the PARKING light comes on... When is my short bus coming by to pick me up?
