Anyone do the conversion to the newer style dual round headlight on a cyclone M2? I like the look but wonder how easy it was and also what to do with the small windscreen and gauge cluster to make it look right. Thanks!

This is kind of a rigged up conversion but it works....

here is mine. I used the entire XB headlight, housing, and flyscreen. I drilled and tapped 3 1/4-20 holes in my X1 upper to bolt the housing on. I also had to grind 2 pockets in the XB metal housing to clear the corners of my upper triples. Then i drilled one 1/4-20 in the lower triple and bent a flat piece of aluimnum for a lower bracket. Once installed it is rock solid and looks completely stock. I also made a custom dash housing to hold my factory gauges and did the dual headlight mod at the same time.

and here is the gauge housing i designed and built from a rapid prototyping process called SLS (glass filled nylon powder)

I really want to do this conversion to my 00 m2. The hard part that i`m having is finding the headlamp assy. Is wiring this conversion a real big pain or fairly simple???

that was the hardest part for me as well. From what i remember, wiring is easy. All the color wires should be the same. I did do the XB high beam mod at the same time, which was also easy.
