stock exh. mod

I am going to modify my stock exhaust w/ a 1 5/8 hole and am wondering if any one has done it and if so do I need to jet the carb after. I don't want to do it till I can get the jet kit if so. Please help

It's safe to assume everyone has done it.

Up your jets to 45/170 (or 45/175 if you have the 170 stock) and add .05" of shims to raise your needle.

It will act like a different engine.
