Trouble idling

My 2001 blast doesnt want to idle without dying. Should I change the spark plug and wire?
Get the carb rebuilt? Or just run the shit out of it? It only has 3500 miles on it.

Age is more of a factor than the miles. Been sitting long? If a bottle of Seafoam doesn't clear it out, I'd pull the carb off and clean it.
