Idle Air Control valve cross reference

Hey guys, my IAC died (XB12scg 2008) a couple months ago and I couldn't find any cross-reference anywhere on the web.
I bought a couple out of eBay and one of them works perfectly.
The only thing is that you have to take the pintle out of the old one and fit it to the new one.

Here is the link to the eBay item:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/L%C3%96WE...53.m2749.l2649

Here is the OEM part reference in case the link above does not work:
    Peugeot: A97122, 29109L Short Code: B32/01

Hope this can help anybody save a couple hundred bucks...

nice call on your part. the OEM part # is P0282.5AA
there are NONE left in the H-D system as of 2/2016
typically retail for around $170 from the usual sources.
i still have new-in-box ones for board members @ dealer cost if needed.

Hi could you tell me how to swap the pintle out, not sure if that's my problem Its not showing a code for IAC but it has the same symptoms. I have a 2009 Uly after a long ride it won't stay running or idle. Thanks

You most likely have an intake leak

This is probably too late, but I used a vice to take the pintle out. I pulled on the IAC with the pintle being stuck in the vice.

If it's not showing the IAC trouble code, I wouldn't change it though. I think AZmidget91 is right.
