You should have some Room Temperature Vulcanizing gasket maker in the tool box. It will work perfectly. A tiny bit. You don't want it squishing out everywhere, and 'high temp' is unnecessary (and ugly).

I recently ordered some stuff from St. Paul HD. My local dealer (Canada), told me 4 weeks to come from Milwaukee. St. Paul had it in stock, shipped same day, I had it 2 days later. Only problem is DHL shipping was $60. Not so bad if you are in the US or have more patience.
