    Did they repair it with non CityX plastics?

    Enjoy it. Those are great bikes. They handle so well.

    I know the fairing isn't translucent, so I have to assume it isn't stock cityX. The headlights were also replaced (no grill) and the hand guards were removed. I'd like to find some of the missing parts, but if I can't no biggie. She's gonna be a runner.

    We have lots of plans! Already got in new LED blinkers that we'll get on next week after the rain stops. Going to try the $0 DIY relay mod;

    Ordered a new rear tire (Shinko 009 Raven) from www.cyclegear.com here in Tucson. For those that are tire brand snobs, I've been running the Shinko 777HD on my Excelsior Henderson and love them! Shinko bought the equipment, tech and patents from Yokohama;

    Going to also have the seat recovered by a local upholsterer in black with blue butt pad inserts for $125. Should look good;

    Install and LED ground effects lighting system;

    Last project will be to see if we can come up with a nice rear fender delete, without having to hack up the stock unit, with LED strip tail light/license plate light.

    Excelsior Henderson, thanks for posting that pic. I never really paid much mind to these bikes, I was more into dirt bikes at the time. Very interesting. I've never personally seen one or ever hear any one talk about them. John probably has a new one still in the crate amongst his collection.

    Do you have a picture of the handlebars?
    The CityX had a style similar to a dirt bike with a horizontal bar between the left and right side.

    The only real difference is the looks and they chose that awesome Blue, so your Buell looks killer.

    I chose to keep all the stock turn signals to maximize visibility but have a great cheese grater eliminator.

    Ill take some pics for you so you have a starting place for your design.

    The bars do have a crossbar, like dirt/mx/bmx bars.

    I'd sure like to get the handguards and headlight grill to get it back to the original bad a$$ look up front!

    Cool. That's the CityX handlebar for sure.

    Personally I like the look without the handguards and removed those when I owned a CityX.

    Good news is, if you want them, it looks like St. Paul HD has those hand guards and the Grill

    $38 each for the hand guards

    and here is the Grill $80

    Thanks for the pics. Looks great. I'll have to make one like that. Simple, effective and functional. Just what the doctor ordered.
