BUELL XB9R 2002 fuel filter

Hi i have replaced the fuel filter and don't know witch way round the filter go's all it has on the filter is IN can any body tell me witch is in off these 2 picture

the LEFT pic is correct. That depicts the IN port in the correct position. Here ya go. Correct for all early style pumps.

My pleasure. Don't sell yourself short as it's an easy mistake to make. The RED arrow depicts the IN portion of the filter.
