Hi All,
I just bought my first Buell XB9R, my first Buell ever. It is a project bike that needs some lovin' and since it is so different than anything I have resurrected before, I am sure to have questions.
I don't have any pics of her yet, but will soon. Pretty sure there's nothing new to show....
Thanks,
Shawn

Welcome! I also have am XB9 and I'm just over in Seattle if you want any hands on help/advice/etc. I've done a fair chunk of fixing/modding (of course with the help on this site!). I also have ECMspy if you need computer diagnosing and such.
Don't be shy, feel free to get a hold of me via PM or whatever.

Thank you. The first things I found: One spark plug wire cap has no connector inside. Ordered a new pair. To get to the rear plug I had to remove an aluminum bridge to which a type of massive braided ground cable us attached. That was fun.
The bike was going to sold in pieces. The first and only thing to go was the shift assembly. I managed to find all three components and waiting for them.
The neutral switch is bad.
From the seller - Runs but won't shift from 1st to 2nd. It could be an adjustment or something serious.
Other than that, she's pretty good.
