I have a XB9S. I need to lower the shift linkage. I bought some 1inch lower foot pegs. The shift lever is now too high. I tried compensating by adjusting it with the sleeve making the lever lower. But when I got in the right spot the geometry wasn't right and it wouldn't go into first. Not enough travel. When I backed it off a bit 1st gear came back. I was looking at Uly pictures and noticed the there is a bracket that lowers the pivot point on the shift lever itself. I think if I could get that bracket life would be better. Or maybe the dimensions to make a bracket. McMaster-Carr is an industrial supply business that has all kinds of linkage hardware so I know they have longer threaded sleeves to compensate for the lower pivot point. A few years ago I had both knees replaced so my range of motion in my knees and ankles aren't what they used to be. Getting old is hard work. Wouldn't recommend for youngins.
