A while back I did the upper end of my Buell and was looking for advice on how to break the motor in after replacing rings and honing. Everyone gave good advice and it worked well.
But I just started to watch these videos with Cycle World Technical Editor Kevin Cameron and Editor-in-Chief Mark and came across a couple of videos which were kind of interesting and thought I might share.
This video is about breaking in a new bike. Cameron said basically the same thing Cooter said. Controlled loading with the throttle and backing off. I did use Dino oil during break in. The science behind it is kind of interesting. There is also a video these two do about oils that kind of mates with the break in video.
